Alaska, North Dakota, Louisiana “Perks” of being born into a military family.
Although I could write books on my childhood adventures, I will fast forward to chapter 2938, titled “High School”

Home of the great Dak Prescott, I attended Haughton High School, in Haughton, Louisiana. While taking AP and honor courses, I also stayed busy with many extracurricular activities; JROTC (4 years), marching band (4 years), competitive wrestling team (3 years) and at the same time working at Taco Bell. In 2016, somehow, I managed to graduate in the top 10%  of my class.

Supported by the TOPS scholarship program, I decided to attend Louisiana Tech University to pursue my education. Having graduated in March 2020 (a quarter early, I might add), I received my BA in Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law and a minor in Communication. While at Tech, I marched with the Band of Pride (3 years), and was heavily involved with PBr, a drumline service fraternity where we raised money to donate to lesser funded band programs, the Pre-Law society, the Social Science Society, and the Debate team. Although my senior year at tech was my first year of competition, I ended up tying for 10th nationally out of 600+ first year debaters! Most recently, I was awarded 2nd place speaker in the “Pro” division, in a virtual tournament hosted by University of Arkansas at Monticello.

After graduation, I originally wanted to attend LSU Law. But after some “soul searching,” I applied and was accepted to the University of North Dakota, where I am currently working online towards my MA in Forensic Psychology. After completing this program, I am hoping to join the FBI, and work as a Special Agent directing my focus to violent crimes and crimes against children.
Although I do not understand the concept of “free time”, I do like to read, play drums, and be outdoors. Other than work, if I ever leave my house, you can find me at Flying Heart Brewery watching the game. GO COWBOYS!!

Although I am still new to trucking defense, I am enjoying (and grateful for) the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys at Perkins and Associates, LLC.
